Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel will meet with Israeli Minister of Defense Moshe Ya'alon at the Pentagon today at 3 p.m. EDT.

Prior to this meeting, Minister Ya'alon and a team of Israeli defense experts will receive an in-flight demonstration on the capabilities of the MV-22 Osprey from the U.S. Marine Corps. Hagel will greet Ya'alon upon landing at the Pentagon helo pad by the Mall entrance at 2:50 p.m. EDT. Ya'alon's arrival at the helo pad and greeting is open press. Hagel and Ya'alon will then drive around to the River Steps and will enter the Pentagon through an honor cordon for their meeting. Journalists and photographers without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the Pentagon River Parking Pedestrian Bridge only. Plan to arrive no later than 2:10 p.m. EDT, for escort to the helo pad; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification. Please call 703-697-5131 for escort.

Deputy Secretary of Defense Ashton B. Carter has no public or media events on his schedule.

Secretary of the Army John M. McHugh, Chief of Staff of the Army Gen. Raymond T. Odierno and Sgt. Maj. of the Army Raymond F. Chandler III participate in the Army birthday wreath-laying ceremony at 2:30 p.m. EDT, at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va.
