Can the NSA spy on your online backup?

I've been thinking of using Carbonite for backup, as you've suggested. However, with this hoopla recently about the NSA, I'm worried about putting my information online. Do you think the NSA could spy on my backup if I used Carbonite? Thanks for your help over the years!

I definitely understand your concern, Dan. The huge scope of the NSA's spying makes you wonder if there is any data it can't grab. It makes sense you'd be leery of putting your sensitive information online.

This isn't just a worry about Carbonite either. You should wonder if the NSA can get to any data you put online.
