It has become a rage in the main cities of the country. It sounds disgusting the moment we think about the trend as it's quite uncommon. The reason for the popularity of this trend among the Japanese youth is credited to manga comic books available in Japan. The music videos have also contributed significantly in the rise of the trend. The reports have concluded that a substantial amount of school children are found giving each other a lesson of eye licking. As a result, they develop an infection around the eyeball and are found hiding the infection while staying at a public place. It is a fetish that has compassed almost 30 percent of the Japanese youth. This intimacy or fetish is popularly known as Oculolinctus. It is a state of extreme craziness.

The extreme nature of this practice can be adjudged by the following diseases mentioned above. The Japanese website named Naver Matome has revealed the problem of eye licking. It reported that children studying in the secondary schools are found giving each other eye licking experience. The website interviewed a teacher from the school that had many students suffering from styes. Of 10 children in the class, almost every second person is spotted wearing an eye patch. It is a worrying sign for the Japanese society as the youth of the country is getting spoiled in the practice which is heavily dangerous to perform. The mysterious reason behind the tendency of eye licking seems to be ultimate fantasy and fetish of the children. It gives them utmost pleasure and exchanging it is taken as the exchange of love for each other. However, such a fetish is one of its first kinds ever recorded. The trend has become viral among most of the Japanese youth and people are following the trend without taking a precaution about their health. The risk of developing serious diseases or infections at the completion of such practice has triggered a quick action on the part of Japanese authorities.
The medical experts around the world have claimed the negative effects of eye ball licking. Not only does this trend sound very disgusting, but it has some deep negative impact on the human body, particularly around the eye region.
