| The consulting firm Booz Allen issued a statement Tuesday confirming that Edward Snowden, 29, was an employee of the firm and that he was fired on Monday after he revealed he was the source of leaks detailing the National Security Agency's collection of phone and Internet data. Snowden was employed less than three months and had a salary rate of $122,000, the firm said. |
