From Zeke Quezada, your Guide to Las Vegas Travel

Las Vegas
Explain the decision to go to Las Vegas. What happens to you when you decide you're going to Las Vegas? Do you wake up in the middle of the night and scream "Vegas!" or do you secretly sit in your cubicle and plan the trip everyday for two weeks? Do you get in your car headed for the grocery store only to end up at a Las Vegas pool drinking mojitos with complete strangers? What happens that makes you head to Las Vegas?

For me, I usually will start dreaming of a destination. I'll think about the drinks I can have at Comme Ca at the Cosmopolitan and the idea of Chef Brian Howard's food makes me make bad decisions. I'll want to lounge on the prestige level at Palazzo Las Vegas before a meal at Carnevino. I'll get excited about seeing Penny Pibbets at Absinthe at Caesars Palace with the thought that maybe she'll just make eye contact with me and let me touch her puppets. I'll fantasize about the food at American Fish at ARIA and the possibility of one day mastering the art of cooking a fish in a bag.

Just like that I need to spend some time lost in the world that is Las Vegas.

Why do you do it?

Shibuya at MGM Grand Las Vegas

shibuya
Japanese food has a special place in my heart. I crave it. I crave fresh fish. I crave fresh wasabi. I crave sushi. I crave Sake. Yes, I have some real issues with wanting too much all the time. My problem is that I might be a little too promiscuous. A few weeks ago I was so excited about Nobu at Caesars Palace that I stopped in 3 times in one week. I could not get enough of the lounge or the sushi. Before that I was ranting and raving about Testu at Aria Resort. You would have thought that they had me on the payroll the way I would go on about how much fun I had there.

Well...here I go again.

My new favorite, although, really, how long will it last? Shibuya at MGM Grand Las Vegas. I had a remarkable time there recently. So, I thought maybe it was the fact that I spent a fun meal with a friend and we laughed about dumb things and shared some exciting and intriguing food. New menu, new chef, good atmosphere. Was it a fluke? Well, I went in alone. I went in right when the restaurant opened. It was not super busy so the atmosphere was a bit different. The food was still remarkable and memorable. Just like that I fell in love with a different Japanese restaurant and if you know me you have already heard about it. Two strangers in the elevator after my meal heard about it. My wife had to hear about it yet I failed to take her in to try anything.

I'm a sucker for a good meal and I'm always looking for my next favorite spot. So, even though I'm excited about this today you know I'm eating my way around town at this very moemnt looking for the greener grass.

The Best of Las Vegas

Robuchon

Extraordinarily great. Incomparable. Like no other. Daily someone will ask me what is the best hotel or restaurant or show in Las Vegas. I usually will give them three suggestions of each and they will once again ask "but what is the best?" If I give one answer I'll almost always hear something like, "oh, that's too expensive" or "I don't like French food" or " is there nudity?" Trying to give an example of the best of Las Vegas is a little tricky because Las Vegas means so many different things to so many people. However, I have tried everything on the strip so I compiled quite a few "best of" lists, if you need to find that right thing for your vacation you are lucky you stumbled upon me today.

A little planning goes a long way in Las Vegas. Take a look at your options and if you still have a question, send me a question. You can always email me and if I'm not at one of the best pools in Las Vegas holding a drink while mingling with the pretty people, I'll answer.

Plan A Cheap Las Vegas Vacation
p>Flamingo Las Vegas

Vacation planning usually begins with great promise but ends with making some very tough decisions that involve giving up some of the things you really want just to make the vacation affordable. Las Vegas is no different but you should understand that going cheap in Las Vegas does not necessarily mean giving up everything. Consider a hotel like the Flamingo Las Vegas and you get a center strip location along with affordable food options and inexpensive entertainment choices. Go out to the pool and you get the choice of an adult pool or a family friendly pool. If you consider that the rooms have just been renovated and the price is better than average I'm pretty sure you'll be booking a spot there soon.

Cheap in Las Vegas Resources To Help You Plan Your Vacation

You'll need a few things to do in Las Vegas so check out our suggestions. Not everything costs a lot of money in Las Vegas and the concept of cheap is what Las Vegas was built on. Go ahead and compare vacation spots and you'll find that Las Vegas is a bargain when placed up against the major tourist destinations.

Las Vegas Attractions
There are so many Las Vegas attractions available to you that you could have a different Las Vegas vacation each day of your stay. Jump off the Stratosphere Tower or ride a roller coaster at the NY/NY. You could see a Cirque du Soleil show or laugh with a headlining comedian. How much time do you have because Las Vegas has plenty of action for you.
