Gen. John D. Johnson, for reappointment to the rank of lieutenant general and for assignment as director, Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization, Arlington, Va.  Johnson is currently serving as commanding general, Eighth U.S. Army/chief of staff, United Nations Command/Combined Forces Command/U.S. Forces Korea, Korea.            Army Maj. Gen. Thomas W.
